Utilities Service -
City of Montezuma: Water, Electric, Trash, Sewer.

For new service a completed utility service contract and a verification of ID are required. A service connection fee of $150 for electric and $50 for water are required prior to utilities being turned on.
We offer the convenience of your monthly utility bill via email. Enrollment forms are available at City Hall.

ACH direct payments of utilities are available. Customers who sign up for direct payment will have their monthly bill debited from their bank account on the tenth of each month. You will receive a monthly bill either by email or mail for your bookkeeping purposes. Enrollment forms are available at City Hall.

Utility bills are due upon receipt, 10% penalty if not paid by the 10th of the month. Delinquents will be delivered to you on the 15th of the month or the next business day after. Shut-offs by the 20th of the month or next business day after. A reconnect fee will be charged if we have to turn off your utilities due to non-payment.

Trash Service: Gray County Disposal picks up trash every week on Thursday, please be sure your trash containers have lids on them to keep the animals from getting into them and to keep your trash inside. We strive to keep our community clean and beautiful.

Tree & Brush Disposal Site: To be used by city residents only. This site can only be used to dispose of tree limbs and grass clippings. All pallets, shingles, or any other construction items must go to Gray County Landfill in Ingalls, KS.

Gray County Landfill: Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 6pm.
No one is there on Tuesday but the gate is open. Located at 14905 11th Rd. Ingalls, KS

The City does not sell street rock, alley rock, or sand. If you need sand, call Dodge City Sand @ 620-225-7577
